All you boys bitched about Tethyrd got deleted, that’s what happened.

The problem is the map is still there. The data got deleted from the map. What I need is a "restore to a previous version" option. I can't find that. If there was an option to restore to a specific date, I could go far enough back to find the data. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to do that.@g2outdoors it says that deleted maps get placed into your google drive trash. Maybe the latest is sitting there waiting to be refreshed or permanently trashed?
Gotcha , just trying to help bud. I hate to see good work wasted. The problem is the map is still there. The data got deleted from the map. What I need is a "restore to a previous version" option. I know you are. I appreciate it. If anyone has ideas... I'm all ears.Gotcha , just trying to help bud. I hate to see good work wasted.
Google does not keep revision data on maps. Best thing to do moving forward maybe have Admins copy the maps every month to their google account. Really sucks that someone would delete anything from the map. It's very useful.I know you are. I appreciate it. If anyone has ideas... I'm all ears.

Yeah I found out the same thing. I set myself a reminder to make a backup every month. That should solve the problem.Google does not keep revision data on maps. Nowhere on my screen does it give me an option to "Open in my maps". I am logged in to Google and I've gone round and round in circles and never get to where there is a hand to click on.I have a backup from a Year ago - you may have to re-add yourself. I'm sorry guys, someone went in and deleted the data. Hopefully it was an accident...
Here's a link to the new map.

Please just pin me on the map at 15656 zip code. It should be easier than this is see and use the map.
Sorry man. I just get a little frustrated with this tech crap. Just when an old geezer figures out his way around a device, some whipper snapper with pimples changes something and stuff no longer works. If you know a better way to build a free interactive map please let us know...

Ok. Gottcha. Haven't tried on my laptop yet. Might be something to mention that it can't be done with a phone. And "open in my maps" is at the bottom left of the screen. Desktop only. I don't think you can add yourself on the phone.

Thanks for all your hard work with this forum. A lot of us owe you a lot of gratitude on so many levels. This forum is fantastic.I understand your frustration. I'm frustrated by the pimple faced whipper snapper that screwed it up as well!! I put a lot of work into this map!!!
Also, it talks about the computer thing in the original post, but it would be smart to add it in the Google description as well. Thanks for pointing that out.
Hope that helps. Do it on your laptop and you'll be good to go!
