Saw no other saddle users. Converted a new one, however.
Two. One helped me recover my buck and when he didn’t see anything but preset sticks in my tree, he asked what I shot it out of and we got into the saddle talk. The other one hadn’t converted yet but he is just getting into his 60s and is a little bit over the discomfort of sitting in conventional treestands but doesn’t want to give us on his cheapie 1-man ladder stands for many good reasons. So I am going to let him try my saddle in his ladder stand in the off-season to see if he likes the hybrid style. How many random people did u meet this season who saddle hunting also? The season prior to this year I met 1 other guy who had converted.......this season I met 4 random people who have adopted it.
There are 8 guys in my hunting circle of friends(I’m including Horn even though we are just internet buddies at this point). 6 of us hunt from a saddle. The other two refuse to convert.
Outside of my circle of friends I don’t know any saddle hunters. Most people I knew described saddle hunting to me as the CrossFit of the hunting world before I started.

You need to saddle hunt, go to CrossFit, and be vegan to complete the trifecta...
... However a vegan deer hunter doesn't really make sense, so the trifecta may be nothing more than urban legend.
