I bought a size 2 kite back in July , I have about 5 sits in it plus practice time. Longest I’ve been in it has been 5 hrs. It sits above my waistline and kinda putting pressure on my lower back. It helps to keep the tether low but was thinking it may be too big for me. I’m a 36 waist but not much ass , thought was layering and stuff but I’m also trying to find better fitting hunting clothes. Anyway , what are some of everyone’s experiences with fit?

It shouldn’t be at waist level when you’re hanging. Try setting your tether, loosening the waist belt and pulling it down so it cups your butt more. You can use the side adjusters to help keep it there.
I am a 38" waist and around the holidays a 40" waist lol but I have a large kestrel and it fits me fine.
If that does not work, you can run some temporary cordage through the Kite seat and make pleat. Once weather turns cold you can let out the pleat.

Where should it sit? I would assume it’s personal preference. It definitely sits high on me.
