SaddlePalooza 2020 - SIGN UP NOW

I'm not allowed to reserve the campground until 2020. I didn't want to allow people to start reserving spots or pay until that was solid. As soon as the campground is reserved...we'll start signing up.

@JAYBO - the cap is due to the campground max capacity. I wish we could have 500 saddle hunters, but the facilities just won't support it. I think this year's campground might handle a little more, but let me tell you...managing the facilities and food for that many hunters can get intimidating. Here's what we need...a rancher in Texas with a giant ranch that will let us all come and camp and shoot unlimited pigs!

@Spence71 - I know you were kidding around, but just to be clear, this isn't a Tethrd thing. SaddlePalooza (formerly PigMageddon) predates Tethrd and isn't associated with any brand. It's not about selling anything or pushing any brand or product. It's really about gathering around the campfire and telling lies...errr...hunting stories watching @huck72412 lose at corn hole, listening to @Erniepower talk too loud, seeing @ImThere screw up a truck...somehow, seeing @catman529 hunt way harder than anyone else and eating incredible food from @denots

I hear ya brother. Thanks for the follow-up. Even if I don't get to camp, I plan on a least stopping by to hang out and meet some veteran saddle hunters. I am pretty new to the game, so I am looking forward to it.

Good to hear from you G2. I was getting a liitle worried about you since you havent posted anything on the thread. I'll be watching 24-7 as of the first of the year not going to take any chances about registration. I had a blast last year. Possibly the best camping trip of my life. The amount of saddle knowledge there was crazy. Not to mention, picked up a few nice things from Ernie and Nutterbuster.

Don't forget @Deltahuntr. Without him we will be eating beans with no jambalaya. Somehow it just doesn't sound as good.

Absolutely. Are y’all cooking again this year?
While I thoroughly enjoy watching @huck72412 lose at cornhole it’s a rather depressing endeavor to undertake. I’ve got like 9 hours invested in watching him lose one game.

I believe we're going to do jambalaya and white beans again and then gumbo and potato salad for supper that night. It's not written in stone but has been seriously discussed with G2

I’ll bring a smoker if I get a spot. Well throw down.

I wish I had seen this earlier. Just got my leave approved for the week prior for the final week of bow season and my anniversary. I don’t think the boss will give me an extra leave block as i also took 9 days in Jan to hunt the either sex days.

I'm excited about this. Theres literally hundreds of thousands or acres of public land in that area. Less restrictions than Ft. Stewart. Not to mention some great fishing on the Altamaha. Man I could spend a whole month down there. The only rub is it will be small game season so we'll be limited to rimfire, archery or muzzleloaders. Might have to head that way one weekend for a little scouting. :p
