As for registration, if your referring to attending Saddlpalooza, there is no registration just call the campground speak to Monica and pay for your campsite. You will need to get an isportsman account but she can explain that to you. If hunting you will need the basic Georgia hunting license,(no big game license). FYI :A FEW PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ME ABOUT CAMPERS. IT IS PRIMITIVE CAMPING ONLY. NO RVs

I do plan to attend the Saddlepalooza 2021 meetup and hog hunt. I have my Georgia Hunting licenses, and I just purchased the $80 annual hunting permit for Fort Stewart from isportsman. I currently plan to drive up on Friday 2/19 and camp in my little Tent Cot until Sunday 2/21, and hunt on Saturday and Sunday. I'll either stay with others in one of the four sites that Gudnyte (Tracy) already has reserved, or I can get another site (whatever Gudnyte recommends).

I look forward to meeting many of you and learning about saddle hunting. I have done a lot of other types of hunting (ladders, climbers, hangon stands, etc.), but haven't done saddle hunting yet. I do have most of my gear now and I intend to test the gear at home and then try it out on a local WMA next week and join you all two weekends from now. I am sure I will have questions for you and learn from you.
 
Don’t forget to download Avenza that’s about the only way to navigate Fort Stewart. There is almost no cell service out there. As for the campsites shoot me a text if you want. I reserved four campsites but I only put a deposit down. The campsites are not exactly organized it’s more like an area I reserved, people just put their tents wherever they want in that area. Prefer each person just calls the campground and pay for however many nights their going to stay. After you pay just put your tent in the area I reserved.

Ok just got to confusing. I went ahead and paid in full for all 6 sites in the field area. For those of you that attended before it’s the same area we’ve always occupied in the past. Where we have the camp fire. If you’ve already paid for a site your good, if not come see me and we can settle up then. FYI. I ONLY PAID FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS. If your staying longer and HAVEN’T already paid you’ll need to go to the office and take care of the additional nights. I’m planning on coming up Thursday and staying till Monday morning.

Sounds good. When I called a little bit ago I was told there was another group that was going to be there the same weekend. I wanted to make sure we had enough room for all of crazy Saddlehunter’s. Can’t wait to meet all the new attendees and the friends I’ve made in the past.
