Scentlok tote not available. What are yall using? JE said there is a brand out there that is very similar to it that is black with a gray lid. Does anybody know the brand and where to find them. I'm going down this "screw the wind" rat hole. LOL

Yep - those are the right ones. They make several colors, but the distinguishing feature vs ordinary storage bins is that they have an airtight seal on the lid.

I went the cheap route and bought Mil Surplus dry bags from Sportsman's Guide. Can get a lot in the bigger ones and they are pretty air tight when rolled up.

Ain't you an Alabama boy?

I dabbled in Scentlok for a season or two. Even their Savannah line was hot as blazes just sitting still in the tree. You ain't gonna like it...

These are the totes I think I bought:

thinking more for the rut in jan, feb when a buck can come from anywhere. should be cooler by then.

for some reason JE said IRIS wasn't the brand but he couldn't remember the brand.

Wayfair also has the same totes. Picked up a four pack for 120 a couple years ago. It seems the price went up. Good sturdy totes with foam seal. They won't fit a 32" stick so I had to make some 22". Rechargeable ozone generator from Ebay in each tote. Works great

The red and black tote with wheel they sell at Walmart is the same tote scentlok makes. They probably use the same plastics manufacturer. I bought that and a ozone unit off Amazon for $35, the ozone unit even looks like the scentloc one. Again, probably made by the same manufacturer.

I use a cooler, I'm guessing most of us have one laying around not in use right now.

Might be able to just get a standard Home Depot tote with latching handles and run some foam insulating tape around the rim to get a seal.
