Looking to get into one sticking this year. Looking for a scout or ROS and rappelling stuff for pretty cheap. Let me know what you got.

Cheapest set up I found is a 8mm static rope off amazon 10m for $17 and a belay device from REI from $15 to 20$ and some 6mm trc to make your prussic/atc and a carabiner. I got into rappelling recently for 35$ watch some videos from Jamie Cline off you tube. Really works. Hope this helps some
 
I appreciate it man! I am liking the price. I saw some setups like this online but didn’t know how it worked. Is it easy to rappel with a setup like this?

Watch Jamie Clines videos. It is beyond easy. I thought it would be difficult but oh my god it’s easy. Just remember to keep your hand in the ATC/prussic
Sorry check eastern mountain sports EMS for belays there some sales on the belay device. Don’t need anything fancy. I will upgrade after the season for some better gear but to start its simple and easy
 
Check out eBay for rope. Castro trading sells it for good prices. You want to be between 9 and 11 mm. I got 56 ft of teufelberger cmc g11 for like 40 bucks. It’s rated at 8,000 lbs. I wouldn’t trust the regular amazon static line. You will have to message seller to find out exactly what rope it is. Just search kernmantle rope
