Screamers for one stick climbing?

Anyone use these when one stick climbing? I'm thinking about getting one since I do get some slack in my tether, even though I move it up as I climb.
 
It’s been hashed about here before. Some use them and some don’t. I think there’s some question in regards to their effectiveness on a saddle but don’t quote me on that. You can find the threads by searching the site probably.

I used to use one but quit because the additional length of the screamer plus the extra carabiner only extended my tether, which exaggerated the risk in a fall above the anchor point.
