Securing prusik knot with O-ring?

I could have sworn I saw somewhere where people somehow use an o-ring on a prusik knot to keep it from unraveling when not loaded. I'm trying to keep the small prusiks for my Aerohunter back band on my bridge line from loosening and falling off.

Ideas?

Tthrd backband tiny prusics have a tiny o ring to keep them from unraveling. Not sure where you’d get one.

Hey sorry. Here's the original post. Although I would take a look at the Ernie mod. This will probably be replacing the prusik loops ...

I used castration bands to secure mine. Works perfectly. After using a few for aiders, the bag of 500 didn’t have much use!
