Shipping costs

USPS priority mail you pay for the size box, not by weight of contents or price of contents. If it fits in the box it is one flat rate.

They shipped Usps for a while. Usps had so many problems with packages that they switched to ups only. Don’t remember exactly where I saw it but that is the reason for the $13 minimum charge. I believe they’d love to provide cheaper shipping options to us but until the Usps provides more consistent shipping I personally don’t see them going back. I can understand their point and I don’t blame them one bit. It does suck to have $13 shipping for a small item but it should be a more reliable service than shipping Usps for $8.

I didn’t mean to start a thread dogging on EWO. They are definitely saddle experts and can provide unique products with first hand knowledge of what end users want. I’m sure shipping is better if you order multiple items.

Well I won’t argue with you there. Maybe it’s just where I live, but the service I get from the USPS is simply indescribably bad in every way. It’s almost criminal.
 
Shipstation gives a big discount on UPS, like 40% but you have a monthly service charge whether you use the service or not. My plan is $9 per month.
 
UPS ground for a $20 lb package from MI to MO just cost me $24... That's not too horrible. Shipped a lone wolf sit and climb stand that was listed in the classifieds on here not long ago!

I just got off the phone with UPS customer service because I had a customer intercept a package and he had the delivery address changed, and I got billed for the charge. Imagine that, this guy had only a tracking number and somehow he managed to get a package shipped somewheres else and make me pay for it, UPS is going to give me a “one time” credit adjustment, people talk about monopoly’s how about these shipping companies your getting prices from $16 to $100 and I got some guy having me get billed for his decisions, Saddlehunter needs to buy a van and put somebody on the payroll to make member deliveries lol, the tree stand express, we could have an entire thread with the driver giving us live updates LMAO, my rant is over.

You should not be billed for a customer changing something after the fact. Sounds like a scam to me. Glad they are crediting you. Bad policy to charge you for it.

Honestly, I ordered a couple small items from them and thought $12.99 was high for shipping cost, but they had items I couldn't easily source elsewhere and I liked supporting them over other bigger market vendors.

I had another order from them already going. Next thing I know, I get a refund for shipping on those items. They combined the orders without me ever asking. That impressed me.

Hopefully there will be a way for them to reduce shipping costs in the future, but my experience tells me they aren't trying to gouge folks on shipping as it stands.

Not saying that was the suggestion, just thought I'd share my experience.
 
EWO has offered to hold stuff for me if since I didn’t need immediately and then combine with an order that I was placing the following week, in order to save me the extra shipping

Could’ve gouged me if they wanted but went the extra mile to make it affordable

Any updates on anyone shipping a treestand lately? I’m considering selling my Assault 2 but I might just sell it in person if shipping is crazy, thanks.
 
Such is life. I use pirate ship. If it’s a large item dissemble it(let the buyer know) but some things just aren’t fiscally sensible to ship.

I just shipped out a lwcg .5 via FedEx, it was $40 and change to ship out.
 
Open a ShipStation account I just shipped out climbing sticks and a mission separate boxes less than 50$ total
