I’m new to saddle hunting. I was wanting to know which would be a better pack to hold a predator platform and some climbing sticks. I’ve been looking between Sitka’s Fanatic pack and their tool box pack. I would also need the pack to be able to hold incinerator jacket and bibs, in winter months.

I think either would be fine, i have both, i switch up because i can’t decide which i like best.

I just got a fanatic pack and was thinking about sending it back and getting the tool bucket. Didn’t really like the collapsible sides. The tool bucket looks like I could rig it up on the JX3 pretty easy. Just concerned for overall weight. Maybe I just need to carry less crap into the woods

Can you attach some climbing steps easily to the tool box pack?

Yes, it’s pretty easy. I did take a thick piece of cardboard and slide in into the pocket in the fanatic pack pocket that’s against your back and that gives the pack some light rigidity.
