Looks like a cool minimalist bag. Anybody try one of these or see it in person?
I've seen one but don't own one. I have a sitka tool bucket.. it is WAY to heavy for my liking. This appears far lighter which appeals to me. I'm going totry to use the predator pack exclusively until it gets too cold at least and I need layers!Looks like a cool minimalist bag. Anybody try one of these or see it in person?
I like the looks of it, and I LOVE my fanatic vest! But I really like my MR Pop up 28. I like hauling sticks and platform close to my back, and also need the meat hauling capability.
You’ll get your money back for sure. They sell decent quick on here.I’ve been rocking the pop up 28 and enjoy the load carrying but think I’ll be happier with a quieter more minimalist pack. If it turns out how I hope my Pop up will be a good deal on the classifieds
Received the Sitka Fanatic pack today and first impressions are very good. Thing is extremely silent but easy to use, has well laid out compartments, and is very light. I climb with WE stepps and use a ROS or predator and I think this is going to be perfect for me.
My only concerns are how the Berber will be collecting dirt, sticks, leaves and how it’ll be during the hotter early season. It’s got very little form/suspension but that should be fine as I don’t have much hiking.
I’ll get out in the woods and report back soon.
I will be using the fanatic pack this year. It’s pretty nice. I like the way my sticks strap to it nice a secure and I can fit my platform easily inside.
If possible I'd also like to see the stick attached to see how you did it.
That was one of the things that I wasn't sure about with this pack when I saw it at the local Scheels store last night.
Other than that question, it seems like it'd be a great pack for being quiet and hauling things/organizing items for use in the tree.
