I have hunted from a saddle the last three years. The last two from saddles I made. I hang my gear from a hys strap I made. I modified my hawk sticks and list goes on. I like to tinker. This site has been great for DIY enthusiasts. But I have to say....

Tailgunner has had the most entertaining post on here in quite a while. But maybe my opinion shouldn't count on that?

I've thought about using ros plenty and have used some on a couple hunts...they are great for the weight and packability but in the end the comfort out weights the bulk. Also, being an extreme leaner, moving around the trunk is easier/less movement with 1 central pivot point. Platform is almost the same weight as 32oz of water......
