There is also a RR XL I believe and several more options on the way.

Don’t think it makes a huge difference. I mean it’s just something to stand on and none of them affect the killing of deer.

I would rather take my JX 3 and squirrel steps instead of a big platform for a long sit and comfort.
Big platform... 4 pounds more or less
saddle 1.5 pounds
pack 5 pounds

or a the JX 3... one thing, less noise, same weight, same bulk and easy to carry.
