Not sure where “hunting height” is on pic but judging by the pic, I am willing to bet its more than 6”. It should work just fine. Any smaller, and you really have to keep movement to a minimum as to not shake the tree around the wary deer.

Yup. Whatever it takes. At 250# I don't have to rappell out of the tree at the end of the hunt...I just lean out to the side and the sapling gently places me on the ground...View attachment 19007

I’d try for more back cover but the diameter of the tree looks good to me
