Smoked him!

It’s called, “I got scared and lifted my head to see my awesome shot....”

I bet there is a wounded spike or 4 point at best to go with that post. I think the term "smoked" in conjunction with deer should only be used with a cooking method or a legalized state. Until proven otherwise, there is no smoke involved in an archery shot.

Judging from some of the stuff you post in the classifieds I would have put you in the 8mm generation.
More like super8 and kodachrome ;) not really though. I've been told I have an old soul.

It was the early 80s when our first family member got a vhs player. It’s funny looking back because people came together visit just to see it. I guess the same could be said about color TVs etc. but I wasn’t around for them. I don’t remember as big a deal being made over dvd or blue ray players.

Mentioning a movie with him in it and the title of the thread i just have to say I'm also aboard the Swayze Express for our Canadian members. This thread is really turning into a sh*tnado Randy......
I'm more of a Cusack fan. you know, better off dead, say anything....

LOL. Had to let all his Facebook friends know he smoked him but it was the deer's vitals fault.
"I reckon you didn't smoke him then" is EXACTLY what I was going to type.
Judging from some of the stuff you post in the classifieds I would have put you in the 8mm generation.
Where is the "super like" button? I've gotten to the point where I just assume if it got made in tree bark camo, @Vtbow has 2 of them.

I commented on that post. I’m thinking he’s a new hunter. He says he hit high and lost blood and did not jump the deer while tracking. He either hit high lung just under spine or backstrap over spine. All he said was pass though and he didn’t offer up much details on blood, gut smell, shot angle, etc... I hope he takes mine and a few other guys on that threads advice and gets a tracking dog lined up. He said he had to go to work. If it was a fatal shot that was high lung or one lung the deer may need 12 hours. If it’s a “Monster” it’s well worth it and I feel as hunters we owe the deer our best effort.

Yup, I was on that thread as well and commented something similar. While his comment is hilarious (and I wondered if he was just trolling/joking) you have to imagine he's just not super informed yet and like you said maybe a new hunter. Hopefully he got back after the blood trail.
