Spur mod parts?

I ordered straps from strapworks.com last night. You can get them with the buckle already sewn on one side and you feed the tail end of the strap thru the other half of the buckle. I ordered 1" straps for the bottom of the spurs and a 2" strap for the top. The four straps with bucks cost me around $22.00. Look up side release buckle straps. They come in a bunch of different colors and sizes.
What length did you purchase, 2' or 3'?

I just re read that... I thought you meant with.. length.. Not sure but measure around your calf and go with that. For the price per foot it might be safe to go 3' and have extra to cut off as opposed to being too short.

I just got my Spurs yesterday. I did a search and came up with this thread. Some good info. but I wish there were some videos. I know iv'e seen other threads on modifying spurs but I'm not coming up with them.

is that Seat belt material? From StrapWorks?

Is it nylon or polyester?

I’ve got a boat load of webbing material around here from tree stand harnesses that come with a ton of different tree stands. (When I used to use tree stands) I can probably cut a couple of pieces off one of those.

Pretty sure it polyester but either will work. It might be something I cut off a safety harness at some time

You can order 2 inch webbing from strapworks with the buckle sewn on one end. Just run it around the back of the pads and through the slots and put the male buckle end on and you're done.

Hey, what length for the strap did you order.

Took my first climb on spurs on Saturday. Climbed about 15’ to retrieve a platform I left in the tree during season. Pretty slick. Spurs really stick into the trees easily. I was a little nervous. I have to get used to holding onto my LB rather than the tree with my hands. All in all, I think this is going to save me a ton of time getting set up to hunt. Now, on to the modifications.
