Received my steps. Have not strapped to a tree yet, but first impression - unbelievably light!
squirrels clearly just climb up the tree with their built-in spurs. Can the squirrel steps be used for climbing by substituting squirrel steps for bullmans and use bullmans strap??
Where did you get the steps thanksI have them, I really like them. There packibility Is awesome and they get pretty solid. I noticed they have a little bit of a squish when you push on them but they don’t slide or anything. So far I love mine!View attachment 8717
They will be quieter with camoform tape and then you wouldn’t need to paint them.Mine came in today. Can't wait to see how they feel. They seem solid and have a nice glass bead finish on them. I just gotta paint em and their good 2 go
Where did you get the steps thanks

I got some rubber undercoating. I was gonna spray them with that then paint over it. See how it holds up.They will be quieter with camoform tape and then you wouldn’t need to paint them.
Sounds good. Try it and let us know.I got some rubber undercoating. I was gonna spray them with that then paint over it. See how it holds up.
Dang it. I don't need to review these anymore.1st impressions:
When your platform arrives in a lil box, you can’t help but be happy.
Then you look at them together and think wow, fist size.
Then you wonder if you can stack them while on a strap to bundle them even smaller.
If they hold just as good as my ameristeps platform, this will be great!!! And so was the chicken. Hope I didn’t contaminate my steps with the smell of smoked chicken.
Oh man, Dano send me a fresh set! I’ll never see a deer.

I have some free time and above zero temps to play.X2... looking forward to trying tomorrow.
Cant speak for others, but I would use these steps to climb. I was really hoping the bullman steps would have worked out but I never could get them tight enough with a cam buckle strap. Have you tried one on just a cam buckle strap to see how it would do for a climbing method as well? You could just get some cam buckle straps for climbing, wouldn’t need the ring of steps straps. Thought about making those available on the site, wasn’t sure how many would use these for climbing.
