SRT- again

Are y’all stealth stripping or wrapping your biners and GriGri? To cut down on noise
Also, are y’all even bringing a linesman rope?

I bring a LB and use it as soon as I’m on my platform during the process of hooking up my tether. Not really “needed” as I’m still on my SRT rope at that point but it makes the process easier and, a 8mm OpLux LB weighs next to nothing.

I don’t stealth strip anything. Just take my time.

Another mechanically assisted belay device is the Beal Birdie. It looks to be almost the same design as the Madrock Lifeguard.

I don't stealth strip anything. Nothing really clinks once settled at hunting height. I haven't used my LB for hunting since I have only used SRT/RADS. I got a doe 2 weeks ago and was out today trying to get a buck. I took my LB out to play with the Tibloc a bit.

I personally like the pedil IDs it's expensive but safest ascend/decender it not a belay device it actually for ment for this application
