I'm hoping to use 5 with the aider methodWhen I bought mine I ordered 8 steps and a bag. Then I figured I should have ordered 10 instead so order 2 more steps and a bag to carry 10 steps. Could have save some money if I ordered 10 from the start . Mom said sometimes that I wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree. lol
I'm hoping to use 4 or 5 with an aider to climb and 3 to 4 as a platform .I'm hoping to use 5 with the aider method
I would order a 10 pack with the bag. That gives you a ton of options with climbing method.I'm hoping to use 5 with the aider method
I ordered a set of 12 Stepps and 3 had 8 foot ropes. I am going to order a second wild edge bag because I often just use 4 or 8 of them and then the Stepps I’m not using are loose Stepps in my truck or basement. It would help keep things neat and organized. I’m hoping to be able to put my rappel system in the wild edge bag above the Stepps and just walk in with that.I would order a 10 pack with the bag. That gives you a ton of options with climbing method.

Bingo. That is my biggest appeal. I have a love/hate relationship with sticks. They set nice but even a 20" set is a bit too much when you are pushing through thick cover, sometimes on your hands and knees. As far as mobile, spurs are best solution for stealth, weight, and compact but I have many areas that don't allow them. SRT is awesome, but I generally can't bed hunt with it unless I have paracord preset so it isn't truly mobile. Stepps are quiet, compact, and bedding area friendly. I'm climbing to 40 feet with 6 of them and many other methods get you there in 8-10. In reality, most of us are hunting under 30 feet so adjust accordingly. The packability of these stepps is mind blowing. Nothing but a back pack for climbing method and platform with aider
