Since I'm new to saddle hunting I was wondering if steps of any kind were comfortable with rubber boots on? I wear thhe Irish Setter variety personally. They don't offer much in arch support and the last isn't as stiff as my Bates are.

What kinds of steps/platforrms and boot combos do you guys use?

Honestly, I wear Irish setters as well and a ring of steps doesn’t do it for me. Look at an EDP or mission and you’ll thank me.

I use LaCrosse Alphaburly’s and I have no issues even in my ROS. I’m hoping they work just as good for my Knaider/Swaiders that are on their way.

I run rubbers on a ring of bolts frequently. I did about 10 all day sits this year. I won't say it was luxurious, or comfortable, but I did it - and I was fine.
