You have 7.... I nominate you. I have 2 (and I love them both dearly)
I'm not sure 7 goes hand in hand with slow and deliberate...
I have two and cut myself off. Literally. Well I had a surgeon snip the tubes but yeah... Lol. Kids are worth it though, just a lot.
All info within is about 5-7 years old:
We had the 3 in one Britax setup when my kids were small, having a stroller where you take the rear facing infant car seat out of the car and it clicks right into the stroller is great. To do this with a jogging stroller like a bob I believe you have to buy an accessory and they aren't as stable (well, weren't 7 years ago). Then once they are a bit bigger they can just sit in it. Some strollers have an attachment where the older kid can stand on the back like a bobsled. Mine didn't. We gave all this and the carseats to friends, they out two more kids through them and still seem to work great. If you do go used know that you're supposed to toss car seats after an accident (so I wouldn't buy used from a stranger) and depending on the brand car seats have expiration dates, I think they vary but are around 7 years, likely published somewhere but keep an eye out for that- you may not care, but worst case scenario your insurance company could deny injury coverage or something like that. My opinion- it's your kid, use the same mentality you have about your own safety, no cutting corners, but one of the few constants about parenting is you'll deal with a lot of opinions and unsolicited advice.
We had that stroller and my wife got me a jogger, I used it a decent amount but see more utility in the Britax one, they fold to go in the car easier. You cannot jog with a normal stroller though, it WILL tip over and be a hassle. Jogging stroller was much better for off road (even just grass, umbrella stroller size wheels suck)
Once they got slightly older a double umbrella stroller was what we used mostly, but be prepared for your back to hurt, I couldn't find one with arms long enough to not have to hunch over to avoid kicking the back of the stroller.
