Stroller suggestions

Won't happen. I'll weld the whole thing up before I bend over all day. I lived 18-30 thinking that I just had to tolerate a world designed for 5'8 people. The last several years I've been modifying to the world to fit my sneech build.

Honestly, I told the lady that to me the biggest factor on stroller choice seemed to be not having to bend over to fold it.

She's obviously thinking she needs an uppababy to be considered a good mother. I'm looking at the Chicco one handed grab and fold mechanism thinking it's a no brainer.
ours was a graco and it had a strap you pulled that was under the seat cushion area to fold it up, moderate bend but once you had ahold of the strap you just stood up and the stroller was folded and ready to go, pretty tolerable for only doing it once per outing

Honestly, if you haven't already, I'd suggest you two go to a fancy story and test some out, and then buy whatever you like somewhere else online cheaper. Turn it into a date night where you take her to dinner after (or maybe before, I forgot what pregnant wives are like lol) and she'll likely love it. Sometimes the way this buckle vs that or how one folds and has a handle here instead of there matters, particularly if either of you are left handed dealing with this righty world and doesn't always show up online/window shopping. It's kinda like the advice I've heard when buying a new bow.

We have 8 kids. I think 4 different ways to transport the little one easily
Get a carrier where you can carry chest or back. Their fantastic
A quick umbrella stroller is great for quick trips and where the kid wants to get out and walk some.
Joggers are awesome for all day events where the kid has room
The car seat strollers are awesome for new borne especially when you buy the extra bases!

Between you are @Red Beard you can field a full team, whatever sport you want!

Since someone brought having an emotionless conversation on this topic, I'll chime in now. Either sell it on arrival or maybe look into a 1031 exchange for one that is already potty trained and sleeps all night in its own room. Out right sale is the better option for funding more hunting gear and elk tags. It may be beneficial to know the gender for advance marketing.

I’m sending out advance preorder notice emails to all my loyal fans. Hope I don’t have to recall this sucker if something breaks

Oh and since we are talking strollers-a word of advice on packing for trips- if you pack the stroller, the kid won't ever want to go in it so you'll push it around but you can still put the diaper bag in it (which may weigh as much as/more than the kid for the first one), if you don't bring it, the kid won't want to walk and you'll be carrying them both all day. (Always pack the stroller even if you have to strap it to the roof lol)

But I freaking love being a dad. It's the number one thing in my life by far, even including hunting. Both of my kids were somewhat unplanned, gender surprises (you'll have people buy you a bunch of green and yellow baby stuff you can reuse for either gender if you have a second instead of pink and blue, an added bonus) Buckle up it's gonna be great!

So we have two kids one stroller - a chico jogger. Once our kids were walking and running, they walk and run. We pick wm up and carry um vs pakcing strollers and carry it all over hells creation. Keeps everyone in better shape and the kids sleep better. We use the jogger for jogging around neighborhood, or to walk kids at night to get them asleep, but thats it. Ergo baby when they’re little (FYI never face a baby forward in those chest rigs; just ask any pediatric physical therapist about the hip displaysia), or a hiking backpack until their like 40 lbs is how we did it for both our kids. Way easier imo but its not for everyone. My kids love running and walking now, and I canhike with 40 lbs no sweat

Congratulations man! I have a little boy on the way due January 7th. Good thread as I was also wondering about this

We spent all our money on the car seats and just went with a hand me down jogging stroller and then a 10 dollar yard sale 4 wheel stroller. My kid was never one for a stroller he was either being carried or figuring out navigation by his own means

Graco car seats and strollers are about the best there is. We used a stroller with the first and found this when we had our second on the way.

Radio Flyer City Luxe Stroll ‘N Wagon - Amazon Exclusive, Grey https://a.co/d/2hkL1do

The wagon works out great with two kids. It’s big enough to toss the diaper bags, snacks and everything else you may want for a day out with the family. It’s the JX3 when it comes to kids.

If your significant other has Facebook I recommend that she find a local mom group if you she hasn’t already. You can save a lot of money on hand me down items. People sell garbage bags of clothes for cheap and a lot of times they’re barely used or never used.
