Will be 51 this summer. Started hunting at 36 - self taught and what a long learning curve on your own!

Wow! I would have guessed you were much younger than 51! I guess having your own croasfit gym in your garage really pays off. Will be 51 this summer. Started hunting at 36 - self taught and what a long learning curve on your own!

I though you were much younger until you told me also Jay! I give you the most credit for having a baby at 50. Having one in my 30's is tough enough! lol!Knew there was a reason I liked you Greg ha ha! yeah CrossFit and a 15-month-old baby will keep me feeling 35 for a while I hope

growing the saddle community one diaper at a time
You and are the same age and I live in greene county Tennessee. Small world!I look to be right in the mean of this group. It is crazy for me to believe I am 55 years old, but I am.
I started small game hunting in the hills of East TN when I was 11 years old. There were no deer in TN at that time. After the TWRA started their deer stocking project, I remember the first deer print I ever saw. It was in a mud puddle along an old farm road that meandered down a wooded valley to the Lake. A young buddy and I were squirrel hunting when we saw it. There was a lot of disbelief but it was true... deer were getting a start in East Tennessee. I was 16 yrs old at that time.
I attended SaddlePaloosa this year, have been practicing from an old Arborists saddle and will hunt from a Mantis this year.
I have an AARP card and crocs no prune juice or Life Alert necklace yet. LOL@DaveT1963 is easily the oldest saddle hunter on the forum. That dude is at least 85! He's always posting pics in his crocs, drinking prune juice, holding his AARP card, and sporting his Life Alert necklace.
