TAC Events- Recommend or Not???

I liked that one too but I think I ranged it at 47.5 I can’t remember completely. I held right at the top of the log and it dumped in for an 8 slightly high. There were about four arrows in it on Friday morning when I shot that course. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait to go back. That was downright good clean fun.

Yeah I think the way to get to shoot with a couple guys from different groups is just agree on one of the courses up on the mountain for a second shoot after about 2

Well, first TAC in the books. Shot BRCC today, I shot the same arrow on every target so I’ll take that as a win. Think I have a little work to do on my third axis, going to throw it in the vise tomorrow night.

Only thing I’d do differently is not forget about registration until the day after it opens only leaving Sunday afternoon nock times. Getting home at 9pm and then going to work tomorrow is less than optimal.

When registration for the Seven Springs TAC opened on Feb. 27th this year, I could only get one registration time I wanted and was trying to also register my buddy and the slots always populated before I could finish his so our second day registration was late on Friday which we didn’t want. He had to bail on me so I registered my wife as a non shooting walk thru instead. About a month later I emailed the TAC folks and they switched my slot to a much earlier one which is what I wanted anyway. My point is to reach out if you’re having problems. Also remember on the day of the event you may be able to purchase any additional course from 1-4 pm is that correct @Bigterp ?

Thursday afternoon when we first got down there we had a 2:30 nock time on the Leupold Course, waiting for the shuttle to take us to the next leg to shoot Leupold, organizers asked who was trying to shoot the Nock On course, several were and they said it was going to be at least an hour wait or they could go to a different course if they wanted. John Dudley was shooting the Nock On causing the delay. He was there but we never saw him. I did see Chris Bee and Kaitlyn Maus setting up at the UltraView booth on Friday mid morning. I’m not sure if he’s a co owner of Ultraview or what the deal is with that along with George Ryals and the kid that started it. Anyway, I’m glad we went Thursday and Friday because even Friday morning the lines were huge!!

You can just walk on to whatever course you want, 1-4pm. That’s what causes some big delays. There weren’t a bunch of lines for ultraview & nockon by 230-3pm (Friday). I don’t think I want to shoot any of them sat-sun

Oh so you don’t even have to pay for it then during that time? I guess I didn’t realize that.

I asked at the registration trailer, they said just stay up there & shoot. Not exactly sure about coming back down & riding the lift back up, I wasn’t getting technical….. lol

No, were you there? I would have liked too but I’m rocking the pursuit again this year. Just picked up a Gen2 during their 30% off sale.

No. TN posted the picture.

Sounds like it was great time though. I'd have surely had fun, but probably would have run out of arrow on target #1.
