Target Issues

Hey everyone, wanted to see if anyone had any strong feelings about Spyderweb Targets. I have a ST24 that I got last summer. It's of course been used, but I shoot multiple spots to avoid wearing it out too soon. Anyway, this winter in the basement and ever since then I have arrows that will blow through the target and bury with just the fletchings stuck in it. It basically ruins the fletchings every time this happens and is very difficult to remove. I also have several times that an arrow will literally bounce back at me. I'm shooting a 70 lb draw with arrow weight anywhere from 460-550 gr arrows at 270-280 fps. I should have no problems with bounce back.

Has anyone ever had any experiences with Spyderweb targets like this? I've tried to reach out to them several times online and have yet to hear back.

That's really weird especially at that speed and arrow weight. Let me know what the company says about that. I'm very interested to see what they say.

I have been shooting one for about 5 years and not a single pass through yet or arrows making it even half way in. I did have an arrow bounce off it one time and land right in front of the target but haven't seen that again. I always shoot both sides to make sure I'm not pushing the filler in the same direction always. I'm shooting 70lbs/29" right around 450gr

Yeah I typically flip sides almost every shooting session to help keep the target fresh. I can deal with some bounce backs (even though that's very weird), but pass throughs and the vanes being lodged in the target is a whole different issue. One or the other happens every single time I shoot. I did contact the company and they emailed me back right away. They want me to send pictures of the face, so I will do that today.
