Tattoos?

When I was 16 or 17 I thought it would be awesome idea to tattoo BEER on the inside of my lower lip.....of course it was just some hooligans drunk with a tattoo gun in some person's living room ..it was so dang painful and to add insult to injury it bled out and u wouldn't even know it was there....hahahahahaha

Im starting a portrait tonight for the first time in a while. I hate portraits but people always ask for em when they see my work. i always think that when i talk to tattoo artists. i have all the gear in my basement i just never really got into it.

I want to say thanks for reviving this thread. I noticed some new followers on IG over the past few days. You’re always welcome to add me as a friend on Facebook as well. Also, if anyone is seriously interested, I’m always looking to hunt new areas and make new friends. So maybe in 2023 I can tattoo someone and spend some time hunting with you in a new to me place! Let me know if anyone might be interested!

I'm one of them! You're a talented guy. I haven't been on IG in forever, but I felt like you deserved a follow and I need to re-engage with the world, divorce sucks lol. I've always wanted to get tattoos to capture my passions, have quite a few picked out, basically one arm tools and such, predominantly woodworking, a Stanley #1 plane etc, the other nature and animals and hunting/fishing, deer, rainbow trout, weimaraner, striped bass, etc, but never have had the nerves to just pick an artist and go for it. I'd want portraits/hyper realistic, and get paranoid I'd be disappointed once it's done. And then I have thoughts like how my soon to be ex and I were debating getting matching tattoos ~10 years ago. Thank goodness we didn't, though I'm sure that works for some people #analysisparalysis...

Sorry to hear about the divorce.. I’ve never been there personally, but I had a pretty nasty breakup years ago that had me feeling like I was in a black hole for awhile. Thankfully it passed, but I still think about some stuff now and again even years later.

Sounds like you’ve put some good thought into the tattoo thing! Some people just wing it and think anyone can do their tattoo instead spending time doing some research. There’s some great realistic artists out there that I’m sure can make your vision come to life!
