Team 1 Thread

That sucks man. She all good now? Def be praying for yall.
They gave her some pain medication and other meds to help, she's making an appointment to have the gall bladder removed next week.

She has to change her diet to avoid fat as much as possible so on the plus side we are eating venison and wild duck 100% until.its removed

I finally got a deer this season… unfortunately it won’t count towards our points…. I got a button head with my car on the way to work yesterday
that’s a bummer. Any of y’all ever keep your road kills? I’ve done it 2-3 times now, but it’s not my favorite

No, I know the procedure for PA, but I was in MD and heading somewhere I needed to be on time for. So I didn't bother trying to figure it out. I'd consider it though

Well we went back to the ER Friday afternoon due to some more extreme pain, they were able to squeeze her in and remove the gallbladder Friday evening. It's been a whirlwind of a week. Finally slept in my own bed last night. Dreamed I was petting the big buck I've been trying to kill

I built this thing for hog hunting even though I've never even seen one…

That's a Yankee hill 6.8 SPC upper. Don't even know what can it is, it's my dad's. Looking early next year to finally set my thermal rig up. Going with the new sightmark wraith mini 2x thermal and a 30cal can of some sort. Haven't made up my mind on which yet. Been looking hard at the rugged razor 762

I made a go on another sounder of pigs last night. Deer screwed me over and spooked em when the lead doe started blowing. It was cool to watch the does and how they fed on the standing soybeans through the thermal. Should have hit record on the optic and let it record for a minute.

One day of season left for me. Killed a doe this evening with the 12ga. Passed on 5 dink bucks with the HC mini... still can get myself to kill them on my own property. Maybe another doe tomorrow or something better.

Made another run on some hogs last night. Was able to get lead in 4 out of 5 hogs, one DOI, the big girl of the group soaked up 3 hits before I transitioned to another pig. Caught one slipping out 100ish yards away and put one in its shoulder.
Vulture preservation society doing work. :grinning:
