Team 10 Thread

Impromptu hunt tonight. Wife randomly had a friend come in from out of town so... that was my sign to go. Since it was so late I didn’t have time to scout my way in slowly and set up on best sign like I would for a normal evening hunt. Just hitting a spot a spot I had some really good bucks on camera this summer. It’ll be pure dam luck if I connect with one tonight.
 
Snuck out to the tree for an afternoon hunt today. Saw one doe. But it was nice to be out there!

Yup one single doe for me as well tonight. No shot opportunity. Man our mosquitos are still so bad. I forgot extra thermacell pads tonight and had to keep my head net on all night.
 
All you guys getting out is making me real jealous
I got my bow all back together and tuned in
Went tonight and got my gate pass and safety waiver done for a wma draw hunt this weekend
So hopefully I will have some luck
Good luck to everyone that gets out
At least enjoy the time in a tree

That’s awesome news. Good luck out there. I’m paused on hunting for the next 2 days but be back after em on Thursday evening
 
Our weather is calling for rain this weekend ...Saturday high will be 8-10 degrees cooler than all the other days... It'll be my last weekend on this quota hunt...I have to wait and see what the wifey allows

I'm working on a mid week hunt I hope...maybe I'm getting sick cough cough...archery season almost over

2 straight days of rain just wrapped up this morning. I’ve got the afternoon free and am gonna hunt a huge southern red oak I found dropping last week. Should have perfect wind for this spot today. Who else is going out?
 
I struck out this week at the only archery quota I picked up. Did see a guy waiting on someone with dogs closing night. He said he shot an 8pt half hour before dark but was unable to recover it. Weird thing he was hunting in a place I had a preset at. I almost went there but chose to hunt a swamp area to the north with some acorns dropping instead. All I saw were hogs :tired: he lost a buck! I really hope my next hunt works out better than this one did
