Wednesday must have been my peak. I have hunted 4 times since and have seen one yearling doe. Really hoped to get a doe this weekend. I’m going to try to go Tuesday and Wednesday after work. Then Friday I am headed to Kansas for my yearly trip. Hopefully by the time I get back on November 3rd I will
Have connected. I am ready to go. I have hunted 100% from my saddle so far this year and been really enjoying it. I’m getting better and better with my system. Eventually it will pay off.

Also just pulled my camera card in my backyard and found this guy. I live on only 5 acres but it backs up to a bunch of woods. I only ever see does but then he showed up. We will see.

Well I finally got to get in the woods over the weekend, but I didn't see anything. Which to me it was a good thing seeing how I'm still waiting on my flex that I ordered back in July. Talked to them Friday and they said I was one of the next ones to go out this week. I'm so ready to get it because I'm really starting to hate lugging my climber around. Hopefully this weekend I will have better luck and be in my saddle.
Philsanchez76, I think I would have to start hunting in my yard with a picture like that in it.

So the buckle just came off the metal cam piece huh? Have you tried contacting DanO to see if he will warranty it? Does not seem like it should fail so quick.
Yep, he did contact me yesterday. He said only one other has broken and he thinks it was a manufacturing defect.

I whiffed on a doe tonight cuz I was on the wrong pin! Arrow went like a foot over the poor girls back. Rookie mistake. Was hoping to bring team 14 out of 14th place. Anyone else at least having some encounters? @Gregg D Vance you gonna get back after that big boy? I assume if we had some kills they'd be posted already!

Bummer man. I hunted from the ground a couple of nights ago. Found this spot with tons of sign but it was so dang thick I couldn't find a tree with any shooting lanes. I set up behind some trees to where I thought the deer would come. They came exactly where I though but my slightest movements just slowly drawing my bow either blew them out completely or set them on edge like crazy. I totally took it for granted how much more movement you can get away with 20 ft up in a tree!! Good luck out there.

My flex finally showed up today, so now I'm ready to start using it, hopefully tomorrow morning I will get a chance to help put some points on the board for team 14.

View attachment 19243Shot a good one yesterday. First time sit. Came in completely down wind and I ended up shooting him at 5 yards. Who says scent reduction doesn’t work!
Awesome job, congrats!!!
