Congrats on a nice buck @BCHunter. I knew it was only a matter of time but what took you so long? ;)
Well... It would have been sooner but I made a low single lung on an 8 last week... Tracked it for 2 miles before losing blood. Missed a 150" buck about an hour before this one, so I know what I'll be doing with my rutcation next week :)

LOL, what's the story with that anyway? Cool buck, congrats!!
Thanks!

Well there's a few aspects to it... Some people say there are certain camo patterns that have a blue appearance to them(Sitka whitetail line), and have said that's why they got picked off. Not allowed to have blue accessories (blue ropeman, etc...) so you better paint them. This made me feel like I needed to kill a buck on video in a blue onesie. Haha

Finally got on the board. Nice doe for the freezer.
Congrats.. had a doe in my sights friday she came in to my grunt call after a shooter buck snuck in behind me. The buck stayed in the brush she investigated found my ground scent and screwed everything up. Should've shot her when I had the chance.

Shot a doe last night. It's been 2 years since I've turned the .308 loose. Shot her at like 75yards she ran directly to me. I watched her see me at like 5 yards but it seemed like she wasn't going to turn so I shot her again at like 5 yards. Almost from the hip lol kinda awesome, kinda surprising . There was so much wind i was sitting on the ground and the leaves were just covering me up. Eventhough I connected I wish I would have been in a tree like a civilized human being
