Slow couple of days up here, not much moving that I could see. Didn’t help that it got into the mid 70s yesterday. I have tomorrow off will be out on public most of the day.

Well boys I tried. I really did. Get set at 0530 and planned on swinging till at least noon but it started pouring rain. And much to my annoyance the gear I had on which I thought was waterproof turned out to be anything but. By 0800 I was soaked and shivering and elected to play it safe and I climbed down. Don’t worry tho I’ve got tons of season left

Was out this morning as well, got dumped on
but my rain gear held up until around 11:30. Nothing moving. You’d think setting up in the dark and finding an old timers stand 20 yards away would bring some good juju but no.
In the same stand this afternoon, lots of oaks next to a bedding area.

What rain gear do you use?
