Team 6!

I hunt some of both.. today was on a private piece that I tried early. It’s a rut hot spot so not much messing with it until Nov. In KS only allowed 1 buck but doing MO tags this year too and can get 2 more.
 
Any points on the board today?

I cleaned my garage all day! Been a mess since we moved in a few months ago. Can finally get a car in there.
 
Not here. Went to a different farm and arrived at the wrong time together with farm workers. Bad timing and planning on my end.
 
I cant get in the woods until the 1st so I am going stir crazy. On a bright note, went to scout a spot that has recently been clear cut leaving a good bit of Oaks and as soon as I got out of the truck I seen a few deer tracks. Thought that was a good sign, walked 20 yards from my truck parked on the side of the road and bumped 2 does. Walked in about a mile scouting to place that looks like deer heaven and only the native americans may have been there. No sign whatsoever. I mean this place had saddles back to back 100 yds from each other with a nice pinch point and coming out of a funnel. What more could you ask for!! Walked back to my truck with head held low and very dejected and as I get about 100 yds from truck there is deer crap and a bedding spot I assuming those 2 does use this area as their home turf. I guess I will be setting up 100yds from the road and try to get me a doe opening day. Took off work tomorrow to go scout another spot that looks very promising. THis is my first year scouting public or attempting public even though I have 100 acres I hunt right by my house with another friend. I like having options and I pretty much know what I have here.

Im just not seeing any acorns on the ground. Ive never seen it this bad. How about you guys?

I like to find Acorns to hunt early but now I dont know what to do. This public doesnt have any green fields or Ag which is fine. Thats what Im used to hunting anyway. But its throwing me for a loop.
 
A couple hit listers on my 5 acre private access. Ill mostly be accessing public archery only areas around 45 minutes from home. I have no cameras out on the public.

The land i used to lease got sold 3 days before the archery opener this year. So I scrambled to find public access.
