@Nutterbuster, Im listening to your conversation on Southern Ground. Enjoyable listen so far, especially hearing about how you tackled that SOA. Is that buck you put up on 12/29 the one you shot there? Just curious which of your 17 deer it is!

Glad you like it. Never done one of them fancy podcasts before. It's like talking on the phone, but knowing anything you say can be held against you. Lol

Yes sir, the deer I was talking about was mainly the Portland buck. I may have slipped in some references to the 6 pointer I killed too, as well as the doe I killed about an hour before the phone call. It was a busy week!

Running late, but I'm loaded up with my new cheetah print back pack as the wife calls it and I'm headed for some public land mountains. Got a spot in mind I scouted last February, but haven't been to it since. Got an hour and half drive but gonna try to make it happen!Screenshot_20200112-134844_Gallery.jpg

Sitting on 3 hot scrapes that popped up after the storm yesterday. Less than a month to make my 10 deer goal. Small odds of adding to the scoreboard, but I am going to Jackson Co 2 weekends from now. They have some massive deer. Who knows.

Didnt see a thing. It was raining on the top of that ridge and their was rain freezing on the trees. On the hour and half drive home I only seen 2 deer, so obviously they didnt move good this evening. A buddy of mine hunted a different area, he had an hour drive to his house and he didnt see a deer either.
