It’s not specifically called out in the regs. As long as the deer isn’t swimming, it’s a legal means of take. I seent a video of his setup though, and he definitely shot it out of a hang on! Burn him!

@Nutterbuster sometime in the next few years I’m getting another Bama license. It’ll be couple years of scouting but I would like to start on the Georgia east coast in early October and hunt the rut every weekend all the way into February in Alabama. Just follow it across the state.

I've got some doe's found, gonna try to slip out in a little bit and run an arrow through one of um. Got a tip from a good buddy that saw a 12 point while squirrel hunting a few days ago. He said he watched him at 60 yards from about 10 minutes through his rifle scope. Think I'm gonna go up there this coming weekend and try to upgrade my buck!

Would only be 6 points for me, knock my buck down to a doe. I had 3 does coming in a few minutes later but thermals screwed me and they got my wind about 60 yards out. I really thought the thermals would of dropped down into the slough I was setting over, but they went out into the field corner. Now I can re adjust and try again
 
My mother bought the kids a playhouse/swingset for Christmas and the wife has been bugging me about putting it together and today was a fairly nice weather day so I had to work on it if I expected to hunt anymore this week. Well my texting camera has been on fire all evening under them pin oaks:expressionless: I'll be there tomorrow evening though, even one buck that looks to be a shooter!
