The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

You're all overthinking this guys... ...Plastic chip clip Clip it onto your dump pouch or shirt pocket until you need it, then pinch it onto your rope... Done.

Take a piece of small rope, 550 cord...etc and rig a prussic hitch to slide up your tether to the point that it meets the loop. This will keep the line taught around the tree and the tether will not fall if you unweight it.
I ether rap my tether around the tree twice and the choked it or take your tether and rap it around the tree and then put it through the loop and your tether twice . There is another way go on John Eberhart's YouTube channel and see how he does it.
