I have them. Aerial Assault is my channel. You can check out that review there. Light weight for sure! Like unbelievably light. Outside of that I'm not a huge fan. BUT... if the fix the stacking pegs to go together easier that will also be a big plus. Bec once they are together they lock together like no other

Well, if the recliner you see there is actually made in the USA.... then it is.

I’m sure that particular one WAS made in the US, however it is not an accurate representation of the one they are selling.

I think it is misleading at best. After receiving one made in China, I inquired to the company and made them aware of the confusing advertising. It still has not been corrected which, along with a separate negative experience with a different product, leads me to buy from other sellers.

Fair enough. The phantom saddle I am sitting in now has the same made in USA tag. Looked before I put it on for antlerless this am. But I'm fine with that if that product is. If they have other products, such as hys strap, etc that are China, it just needs to say that (legally, I believe). Now if all of the components of a product are sourced in China but just assembled in USA, then I agree that this is false advertising. If the entirety of the product is made and assembled in USA, cool, say so, I don't care if the other stuff you sell is not.

These are pretty cool looking. I"m curious what the testing as looked like and the longevity.

Yes, and "chemical welds" have gone mostly the way of the dodo in the cycling world. Early carbon/aluminum and carbon/titanium combination road bikes used to to be "chemically bonded" but because of the properties of the two materials being so dissimilar(flex memory) over time they became noodly and the bonds began to fail. I'm sure there are better glues and epoxies used these days, but that would scare the crap out of me glued metal joints that flex fail eventually.
"Eventually" or "on first use"? Came across some videos of one-sticks with broken bonds and wobbly steps supported by only that hollow pin that people were getting sketched out over.

However...the videos were posted by people affiliated with catalyst. So there's a certain amount of smell-test there...

Is this a thing? I've mostly been ignoring sticks and haven't really been paying attention, but seeing those videos of failed sticks had me thinking back to this discussion.

It's still visible to me, for whatever that's worth. Pretty sure you need to be a member of the group to view it.
Gotnit....i was able to see one done by @enkriss someone posted int the catalyst vs one sticks....looksnlike glue failed almost immediately....hmmmmm

So, I'm definitely out on these with that Made in China tag. When they first announced they were outsourcing goods it was only supposed to be sewn goods. I see that isn't completely true.
I’m sure it has a lot more to do with finding an American shop to do it then choosing to outsource over seas.

machine, tooling, and fabricating business have taken a steady beating in this country for 50 years. Yes, there are quite a few three men operations specializing in custom work. But, I’d doubt there were many operations in the USA with the technology to do this on the scale needed. You got really big operations committed to more work. And, small operations specializing to common consumers. And, likely nothing in between to choose from. That’s my guess.
