Is there going to be a preorder option? Or just watch for the release date in February nd hope they can handle the flooded orders
 
So are attachments like the Micro Fit Adjusters eliminated on this saddle?
 
Don’t know for sure but it looks like no need or even a way to attach micro adjusters. The comfort channels and built in cupping accomplish what micro adjusters used to do

Everyone can view this thread. Even totally anonymous non-members. Responding in this forum is off-limits for vendors but they can still read everything.
 
Well, are they gonna put mantis on sale? Cause how many people are really gonna buy one between now and feb? I will if they do but the vast majority want the phantom
 
Not sure if there will be a sale since the phantom is 50 more The mantis will just be a lower price point saddle.

Wonder how the bridge design will hold up to when its freezing wet snow out. The tag end of the bridge looks like a double fishermen's knot with a continuis loop on one end of the bridge loop with a prusik.
 
Looks like a good saddle, but honestly I don't see myself dropping $250 on this. I would have to sit in one and be blown away before pulling the trigger.

So if your in MN and buy one of these let me know!

How much was the mantis when it first came out? I wasn’t paying attention to the saddle market at that point.

I've always viewed @g2outdoors vids as having a very infomercial vibe. I think Greg could audition for the Oxiclean role, just take it easy on the cacaine if you get it.

Real answer -- I got mine hot off the presses for the $199.99 and a sweet freebie (SYS pouch) thrown in.

unrelated to anything saddle hunting............i just noticed the iron city pro staff. that made me smile. the old red eye!!!!!
