Can’t speak to longevity but got the paint to lay down and adhere well. Plenty of clear on it to hopefully keep it intact longer. I’m happy with the results. View attachment 99385View attachment 99386View attachment 99387
Have to make sure the deers know I use Tethrd gear so the big ones come closer.I love how ya’ll highlight Predator in a single color so it doesn’t get lost in all the camo. lol.
Looks great though.
I'm so genuinely curious as to why and how you have composite (cf and fiberglass) primer? Boat job previously? That’s what I’m going with, just happened to have some and I’ve still got plenty of paint from doing my predator so I’ll give it a go.
Paint the Strap!!!!The strap sticks out like a sore thumb now.

Misread and/or misspoke, sorry. I used an auto primer for fiberglass which I understand is not the same as a composite. I lightly scuffed the surface of the platform in an effort to get better adherence. I applied 2 coats of it, time will tell if holds. I’m sure there are multiple opinions on that too. Been thinking about that as an option, nothing to do with camo. Honestly just seems easier than the cam. I’m just comfortable with the cam and know I can get it tight to the tree every time so I haven’t switched.time to go to an amsteel daisy chain.....?

Preserved & pigmented vegan tearsWhat's in that third pic? All I see is a strap.
Nice camo job man. How did you do it? Seasponge?

Yeah, these Walmart specials, I cut them in even smaller chunks with scissors. I just use the catman outdoors method he has on YouTube, explains things well and is apparently idiot proof since I’ve been able to get it done twice now. Only thing I do differently is clean it with mineral oil first instead of brake or carb cleaner like he does. What's in that third pic? All I see is a strap.
