Which versa strap is best for the predator?? The mini or the regular??

Regular works best unless you want to cut the button down smaller which is what I did. The mini works great that way.

does the predator cam over good with a daisy chain? Ive watched videos on it just haven't tried it yet. Have some 7/64 amsteel for one when I get to it. I figure yall are using the toe tap method correct?

I have standard versa straps and I purchased 7/64 Amstell daisy chain. The Amsteel works better, easier to put on/off, easier to get a tight fit. Packs easier and is lighter.

I made some daisy chain out of 7/64 for my Beast Sticks. Have not used them yet, but will tomorrow. It looks small. I know it will handle the load, Wow.

Yea, I agree, When mine came in I was concerned and had to research to insure the 7/64 would hold. have read the 7/64” Amsteel has anywhere from a 1600 - 2200 lb breaking strength.

Actually the 7/64 is only 1600lbs strength with a only a 320lbs of working load!

If you have the predator generation 1 you should be careful when you're camming it over they tend to break that's why they came out with generation 2 predator

I have the gen 2 so no worries there. glad they addressed that issue quickly though. I was astounded with the size vs strength on the 7/64 as well. Im going to try it soon as I get time to make it.

how big did you make your loops?

I purchased them completed. They are 6.5 ft long, 2.25” openings for easy on and off use. The one end that attaches to the versa button and doesn’t come off slides over and has a snug fit. They are awesome.

Any way you could post a pic of the end youre talking about? Im thinking it must be similar to a whoopee sling end. I have the rope and am getting ready to make one so it would be awesome to have that template
