Well, I'm up and dressed. Coffee is brewing. It was a fitfull night to say the least. Yep, you guessed it. Shot a nice 7pt last night, hit in the shoulder. Tracked for 6 or 700 yds till we lost blood. Headed back this morning to see if I can pick his trail up. Man do I hate these kind of nights. Replaying the shot in my head over and over.

Well, I went back yesterday and spent the day. Never cut a new track or new blood beyond where we lost it. Walked a creek up and down both sides for close to a half mile. Gonna say its not a fatal hit and move on. Bummer tho

Hate that for you, most all of have all been there and feel your pain. Send a few good shots down the practice range and get back after them.
Thats what I did. I let 3 young bucks walk this morning, the biggest being a 1.5y/o 6pt. He had a doe with him....so I took her. Arrow went where I wanted and she died within 65yds.
