Damn. I just ordered my shikars. I actually just sold shikar minis and rebought the fixed regular shikars. I just like the extra length for me. I plan to do a two stick/one stick hybrid. I’ll climb regular with both sticks and a two step aider and then do one more move as one stick method. And using a scout. I loved the angled scout last year.

I cut down a Lone Wolf stick during the summer and have used it for one-sticking all season.

Cut down LW stick - 15” end to end

Replaced the top step with an angled scout from @DanO

Replaced the bottom step with a double step with a 3 step webbing Aider from@DanO

Replaced the LW brackets with a set of @DanO standoffs (this is a great combo with the Scout on a stick)

Stealth Stripped the stick

Added an aluminum Versa Button from @DanO

Was using a 6’ daisy chain webbing until recently. For me, since I wasn’t using a cam cleat it was easier to set/reset using the original strap with the buckle.

Dano stand offs are the best in the industry I like your set up I ran a similar set up this past season but with a 2 step. Built my version of the ultimate with DanO components and made a another 2 step strap aider that I’m going to make a 3rd step detachable strap aider in case I need it
