Thinking about ordering new Skeletors…

Mine arrived today, hoping for the best lol. Top and bottom standoffs are beveled on mine, good thread engagement on all fasteners. So looks like the issues were fixed. As long and the steps don't start snapping off I think i will be good.

I picked up a set a few weeks ago. I pulled them out of the box to find loose hardware and one of the (undersized) bolts had a double stacked washer. Couldn’t have been more than a literal thread holding the button on.

they also had the original stand-offs. I spoke to Tethrd and they very casually offered to swap them out for new sticks, plus include the upgraded stand-off. I returned them and ordered another product.

At the very least, I would contact Tethrd for the newer hardware and standoffs, then go through the sticks with a torque wrench.

That is terrible!

My gen 2 One Sticks were not much better, oh yea and they have been recalled as well. Not for the issues they had. Looks like a complete lack of Quality control.

That’s ridiculous, there is no excuse for that, none, I hope whatever you replaced them with works out for you this season.

Mine showed up yesterday. For what it’s worth the manual refers to them as Gen 2 and all the standoffs are beveled.
only thing that seemed out of the ordinary was an extra attachment rope loose in the box.

I haven’t assembled them yet so no clue how I will like them. A9F8A6A2-F846-41F7-BB77-59C7216A6379.jpeg

Wow, Gen2.

I'm glad they're out of old stock. The upgrades hopefully make for a really good stick for ya.

Mine came assembled back in December. Looks like they might be addressing some of their woes by shipping them unassembled. Or, they are just being greedy. Not sure really. But, I’m certain some have got it figured out. I guess time will tell which it is.

I climbed another trial run yesterday with a new aider. I kissed the ground when I got done. Happy they didn’t incinerate in the heat. Or blast off like a rocket. Or fold up and stab me through the buttocks. Or,….

I crack me up.

Give it time.
Kidding of course.
Hopefully they work well for you, even if we don’t agree.

Are the sticks coming unassembled now? I got the gen 1 and they were ready to go on the tree out of the box.

Had to install the standoffs on mine and toss on the ropes.

Yep had to attach the standoffs and ropes. They provided a hex key and wrench.
