ive been a hang and hunt hunter for several years. I’ve been using a loc on windwalker and lonewolf sticks but very interested in the kestrel saddle. Is it comfortable enough for all day sits?
Is it comfortable enough for all day sits?
I got my kestrel late this season. My run & gun set prior was lone wolf sticks & a millennium hang on, super comfortable, but on all day sits you either stand or sit & takes some movement to do so. I used to fidget a bit & my lower back would get tight from same position for long periods. I definitely prefer the kestrel & long day sits are just fine once you’re adjusted right..... Just get one & if you don’t love it , sell it. You got time to get it figured out before the season.ive been a hang and hunt hunter for several years. I usually put in at least 10 all day sits a year in my saddle. This year I was only able to put in 1 all day sit in my kestrel due to my health and work. I had 2 3/4 day sits as well. I have no doubt that I can do as many all day sits as I want in my kestrel.
Yes it is . No more sore back ,neck and butt from hang ons and climbers.it was my first year in kestrel and saddle hunting .. sellind all of my stands if that tells you how great it is ....ive been a hang and hunt hunter for several years. Thanks, I'm better now. Just still trying to get the work part under control though!
