I have liked them. They get pretty tight to the tree because of the design. I wish the straps were permanently attached to one side. I like the modular part because I can order more steps and have double steps all the way up. I should probably order before they go under. I was between Wild Edge stepladder and Odin. How do you like the Odin sticks? It looks like the company may be out of business already.
Do they only come in blue?Oh yeah. If I were you I'd go with a 5 step etrier for your bottom stick. On your second you could do a 4 step, and leave your top stick alone. You'd be able to get over 20' with that setup. You're tall enough to pull it off pretty easily I think.

I thought about getting an old army surplus duffle bag from an outfitter here. Looks like it would hold everything and not have a rigid frame. Not sure what I need to do as far as pack.I used a large duffle bag the last time out and put everything inside it may become my go to.

Yup, I am learning that the hard wayThat also means you can grab and go when a chance to hunt pops up. Everything is packed and ready. All I have to do is grab 1 air tight bin, rubber boots, bow case and whatever climbing system I'm using. The system is always prepped.
x2 on this. Over the past few years I've really simplified the amount of crap that I carry in the woods. Basically I eliminated all the junk. That also means you can grab and go when a chance to hunt pops up. Everything is packed and ready. Glad to hear it. You have to be very systematic when you're hunting mobile. Everything has a place and a routine. Never change it. I never deviate from mine. Everything gets packed in the same place and utilized at the same time and order on every hunt. That way I can keep my system straight. You have to be a little OCD about it.
I ordered a 4 step and a 5 step today. May need to dye them and didn't know if I needed to do anything special or just follow the directions on the dye you suggested.Oh yeah.
