Thoughts and Prayers

Praying for a physical heart as well as his spiritual heart may they both be strengthened through this ordeal.

Didn’t mean to hijack your post @Mschmeiske. Hope is surgery was successful and he is on the road to full recovery.

No need to apologize! So last night they got him in at 9pm, and as the surgeons looked the heart over they decided it wasn’t in the best shape or something apparently…. He was pretty bummed and his mental health is at an all time low at the moment, but he said what doesn’t kill you makes you…… and we all know how the saying goes! He says he’s not giving up and he’s still at the top of the list so it could happen any day. I appreciate all of you and I’ll keep you updated.

I certainly went through some roller coaster ups and downs mentally over the past 4 days of being admitted. It is hard to imagine the scale he has dealt with. God blessed me to not need a stent or bypass surgery yet but that day will come to fix a discovered birth defect in my heart.

I know it’s easier said than done, but hang in there and think happy thoughts!

This is the most important thing we all can do each and every day and constantly. I am praying for @Mschmeiske and for his friend in need and also for @ofor. Praise God for the benefit of medical care. What always helps me tremendously is James 1:2-4.

awesome news! all the same thoughts for today that we had last time! (as an aside, getting into the operating room for the organ recovery procedure and then finding out that there's something about the donor's heart that makes it too risky to transplant is relatively common, i take it as a sign that his team is really looking out for his best interests, instead of just trying to pad their short term numbers.) cant tell you how much i hope you get a positive phone call a bit later today!

My buddy Thomas, Aka Chucky, is alive and doing well! He posted a short video on Facebook this morning updating everyone and sent me a message. Words can’t describe how it felt to hear from him.. He’s got a long road to recovery, but he’s one of the toughest guys I’ve ever met. Thank you all again. Thanks to the donor and I hope he has many more years with us!
