I shoot without a peep but have since served a small piece of brightly colored serving string to catch my eye so I know I'm anchored in the same area every shot. You could place the string to touch the nose or corner of the mouth if you'd prefer. You want to make sure it's wrapped enough times to notice. You can lock it in place with super glue if the serving wraps aren't tight enough. It saves ya from buying one of the commercially available gadgets, works the same and develops good muscle memory for consistent shots. No need to separate the string, use a bow vise to remove or change placement either.
