Idk... Tried it out tonight. Machine bolt and wing nut sucked. Then I used a ratchet strap to tighten the climber so I could side load it. Thing squealed like a pig everytime I moved my feet. The only thing that was better about this climber is it's easier to climb, but that was it. I still believe it has potential but it's gunna take some work for it to be my go to. Good thing I got some time before I'd need it.
Maybe your not doing something correct. None of mine makes noise or is a pain to put on a tree because of the wing nuts. But, it's not a tree lounger.

Agree with this, except I have the original and it has been flawless other than the size. No noise and easier to setup and use than any stick for me. I am going to wait until after the season to get some smaller ones made. Going to make 2 different sizes, both smaller than the original and see what I like best.

This 3.0 small one weighs in @ only 5 lb! I will say this: the size is very packable and so easy to handle. The downfall: it does further limit the tree selection even more. It just all depends on the trees in the area you’re hunting.
What size trees are you limited to?

So roughly 14 inch diameter tree?
The inside width is 14” so that limits u to a tree of 14” diameter. The large has an inside width of 20” but me and @Mr Price never did utilize its width cuz we both like the trees around the size of a light pole.
