Treehopper Drill/Bolts Questions

As far as I know, Mark only offers the folding handle in that size. The only difference between the mini, and the regular (as far as I know) is the length of the body. The standard handle is nothing like the folder. It's basically just a plastic dowel (maybe 3/8" ish dia?).

I believe there is 2 size options

It only comes in one size that I have ever seen. I have used 2 foldable handle and one non folder.

Now that I looked again, I see the measurements and will just take

There are 2 sizes of the drill body...standard and mini. The standard handle on the standard size body is not folding and looks nothing like a folder. Its basically just a plastic dowel bolted to the body.
Like I said earlier, unless Mark has changed something, there is only one size of a folding handle.
I was part of the testing process for Mark when he was designing these drills. I can say without a doubt in my mind that the folding handle that he offers is far superior to the standard handle.
I'm not sure the point of your question. Are you thinking the size of the folder should be larger or smaller? I've drilled at least 100 trees with both handles and both the standard and the mini. The mini, with the folding handle is a grand slam. Perfect size in the pack and perfect size when actually drilling. You don't want it any larger. Trust me, even with the mini, you will encounter clearance issues occasionally. You'll need to locate the hole just below a branch, or in-between 2 trunks and a larger handle, or a longer drill body will be an issue for getting an unencumbered rotation. Size matters...smaller is better (with hand drills).

Well, I guess I stand corrected. It does look like he now offers a folder in 2 sizes. That's why I said "as far as I know". I have to give Mark a lot of credit for always trying to offer products the customers requests. He doesn't rest, he's always thinking and adjusting what he offers.
When I was (continually) interacting with Mark, there was only one size folder. With that being said, the early gen folder on my mini is 2.75 long by 7/8" dia. It's perfect.

Looks like 2.75" = 69mm
