Treehopper tree suit

Keep in mind that there are other things that effect leaning comfort versus sitting comfort. Foot management, tether height, and bridge length all interact and come into play.

There aren't a lot of other slings on the market. The original Anderson isn't made anymore but the Recon was introduced because there was a demand for Andersons. A used Anderson often sells for $150 (if you can find one) and it still needs modified. Recons are available in 3 sizes and are ready to use right out of the box.

I can't comment on other slings because I've not used the others but I believe that the H2 is a sling, and The Wraptor is a diy sling that is similar to a Recon, but IMO, the Wraptor lacks an important detail in its design. The upper and lower sections of the Wraptor are joined (and are "static") at the hip area, whereas the Recon sections are "active" at the hips which allows the sections to self adjust to different body shapes and different positions of sitting or leaning.

I haven't held an H2, but it looks a similar design to a Kestrel or Tethrd in the basic physics of it. So, I don't think that it is a sling.

Agreed, looks nice, but not the same two-piece support design. Maybe the recon is the only game in town for a true sitting/leaning option?

I'm having a brain fart...Which saddle (or sling) is it with strap that acts like butt floss? I was mistakenly thinking it was the H2.
To be honest, all the new saddles and new generations of older saddles is becoming a cluster so I've not paid close attention to a lot of them. I'm convinced that the Recon is the best thing out there. I own a few of them and I love them. I can't imagine that anyone will come up with anything that will be better for my needs.
So...which sling (or saddle) has the butt floss/thong type strap?

I only tried one at ground level to make sure I could shoot from a saddle (and then order one)....but fleece saddles are supposed to be very adjustable and comfortable....have to make one though and back it up with a rock climbing harness unless you don't like yourself much.
